Description

Update: The below review is for Photo Pos Pro version 1.82.

With photo editors, you usually get one of two choices--either simple or powerful. As a general rule, the simpler the interface, the more basic the program, and the more powerful the program, the more complicated the interface. Photo Pos Pro does a great job of balancing power and usability.

Photo Pos Pro's interface is clean and simple, with all the editing tools laid out neatly along the sides and on top of the main screen, which shows your photo. Hover your mouse over an icon, and a balloon tip will tell you exactly what it does, although in many instances, the icon is self-explanatory.

If you want powerful editing tools in easy reach, Photo Pos Pro is a great choice

The array of editing tools that Photo Pos Pro offers is mind-boggling. Every auto editing tool you want is right there, from the basics such as red-eye reduction, to automatically sharpening or blurring images, making them warmer or cooler, adding frames and special effects, and many more. And there are drawing tools as well, as well as the ability to work in layers. The latest version, 1.8, adds an HTML Webpage Wizard that helps you easily build Web pages. If you want powerful editing tools in easy reach, Photo Pos Pro is a great choice.

Note: Note that when you install the program, it will ask to set your home page to mystart.com and add a toolbar to your browser. If you don't want that to happen, make sure to uncheck the boxes next to those options. Also, the installation process takes quite some time.

Hello guys. This tool remains the best free tool for photo enthusiasts IMO. I have been tracking the app for long since I posted on PCW forums on virus scares it can give.
For last 1 year or so, its doing fairly well. That is, no virus or any other concerns regarding this app.
