Browsing: Nexus One Vs. iPhone 3G
Nikhil Pradhan 05 Apr 2010Let the Battle Commence!
Google's Nexus One smartphone might not have measured up to the tremendous hype it had generated, but one fact remains true: it is still one of the best Android smartphones out there. Apart from its brilliant 3.7-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, Android 2.1 OS and 5MP camera, the Google phone also boasts of an impressive web browsing experience.
The Nexus One entered our labs recently and I pitched it against our reigning champion among smartphones in terms of mobile web browsing- the Apple iPhone 3G to see which one’s default browser offered a better experience while surfing the Web. I tested both phones over a Wi-Fi connection and opened the same three sites on both phones: Gamepro.com, Cricinfo.com and Wikipedia.com.
Let’s see what ensued.
