The Basics

Start out by having a strong password. It need not be a complicated word with weird special characters and unnecessary numerals - a phrase consisting of 3-4 words with spaces in between, will in fact be far stronger and easier to remember.

Just in case, make sure your Email address and phone number updated on Facebook are current. You will need these, in event of your account being hacked or simply forgetting the password.
