Aakash Tablet Available Online For Rs. 2500

Datawind's much awaited Android based Aaakash tablet is available for online (only) purchase from the following link. This tablet costs Rs. 2500, and can be paid for by the 'Cash on Delivery' method - the website claims that it will be delivered within a week.

This seven-inch 'made-in-India' tablet runs on Android 2.2, features a 366Mhz processor and has WiFi connectivity.

Aakash's upgraded version, Ubislate 7, is also available for preorder from the site - the latter product will be available from late January 2012 and is priced at Rs. 2,999. The Ubislate 7 features a 700 Mhz processor, runs on Android 2.3, and offers GPRS connectivity in addition to WiFi.
