Acer has launched five TFT monitors D240H, D241H, B273H, T231H, and S243HL in India. Acer wants to strengthen its presence in the country, from the existing 19.5 percent to a higher margin. All Acer monitors use SensorTouch technology, which is touch-sensing solution that takes advantage of capacitive technology. Acer claims that this touch-sensing solution consumes less power as compared to others.

All the monitors have HDMI port and DVI-D port and have a rapid response time of up to 2 ms G/G, which will be useful for watching 3D games and videos. “We are confident that with our new maxim of – “Bigger Size & New Technology” coupled with rich features, stylish looks and attractive pricing, these products will find wide acceptance in the Indian market and help Acer maintain its leadership in the segment” said S. Rajendran, Chief Marketing Officer, Acer India.

The Acer S243HL is a S series monitor which has a depth of about half an inch. It uses the white LED technology for eco-friendly power conservation. The Acer T231 is 23 inch T231H monitor and features full multi-touch functionality. Acer says that the D241H let users connect to the Internet, even without a PC. The D241H comes with a very unique remote, which has a QWERTY keyboard. Check out the picture.

It has a 16:9 widescreen LCD monitor and has contrast ratio of 80000:1.
