Akai Dual-SIM Mobile Handsets Launched

Akai announced its entry into the mobile handset market in India with the launch of 10 new GSM phone models in the dual SIM segment, priced between Rs. 1,895 and Rs. 7,995. Akai expects that their range of mobile phones will appeal to consumers across all segments with a special focus on the youth, with easy to use and stylish models. They are claimed to be equipped with features like Dual SIM, full touch user interface, Wi-Fi, long lasting battery, large high resolution QVGA screen, expandable memory, wireless FM Radio with recording, high definition video recording, compatibility with E-books and social networking sites. This is done in pursuit of providing all the right features for all target groups - entertainment, lifestyle, utility and contemporary.
