The new Apple iPod Touch fourth-generation just got a whole lot better than the iPod Touch 3G. We compare the features between the two iPod Touch generations.

In an event yesterday, Apple unveiled new iPods -- prime among them the new iPod Touch 4G, which looks a lot similar to the iPhone 4 and comes with never-before-seen features on the new iPod Touch media player.

The new iPod Touch sports the iPhone 4's 1-GHz A4 processor and retina display with a 960x640 screen resolution. The new iPod Touch also gets a front and rear-facing camera. The new iPod Touch is a bit bigger than the previous iPod Touch, but its slimmer and thinner. The new iPod Touch 4G also sports a 3-axis gyroscope and FaceTime Apple chat application.

The new iPod Touch is definitely better than the older iPod Touch 3G. But by how much? Is it worth the upgrade? We let you decide.
