After updating the MacBook couple of months ago, Apple has updated its iMac all-in-one desktop computer line with Intel's latest Core i3, Core i5, and Core i7 processors and improved graphics. Apple also launched Magic Trackpad with multitouch support -- a kind of a larger version of a MacBook or MacBook Pro trackpad.

The Apple iMac continues to remain in the two existing form factors: 21.5-inch and 27-inch screen, sporting IPS panels with a 178-degree viewing angle. What has changed internally is the better hardware it now boasts.

Apple Magic Trackpad

Apple Magic TrackpadAs if the Apple Magic Mouse wasn't enough, the Magic Trackpad now brings the multitouch gestures of Mac notebook trackpads to the iMac desktop -- as a separate, standalone device. The entire surface of the Magic Trackpad is one single button -- just like the MacBook trackpads. With its glass surface, the wireless Magic Trackpad enables users to scroll smoothly up and down a page with inertial scrolling, pinch to zoom in and out, rotate an image with their fingertips and swipe three fingers to flip through a collection of web pages or photos. The Magic Trackpad can be configured to support single button or two button commands and supports tap-to-click as well as a physical click. Customers can order the new Magic Trackpad as an optional upgrade with the Apple iMac for a price of Rs. 3,070. More on the Magic Trackpad.
