Asus U43Jc Bamboo Series Notebook Now in India

Asus has launched its latest U43Jc Bamboo Series Notebook in India. The notebook is named so because it uses bamboo in many places of the notebook to save the plastic consumption by 15 percent, Asus claims. Asus says that bamboo is quickly replenished and using bamboo lessens the impact on environment as well. We have managed to get our hands on this laptop and we must say the feel of the bamboo is quite different and unique.
The Asus says in its press release that the U43Jc Bamboo Series Notebook is the first notebook to feature NVIDIA Optimus technology, which automatically switches between high end discrete graphic card and normal integrated visuals depending on what application you are running on your notebook. If you are playing games it will utilize the NV GT310M graphic card with 1GB DDR3 VRAM for gamers, but when you are surfing the internet or running any other application, the notebook will use onboard Intel GMA HD graphics to save energy.
Specifications:
The Asus U43JC-WX057V runs on Intel i3-370 core processor and has 4GB DDR3 1066 of RAM. The notebook has 14-inch GD glare display and 500GB of storage. The Asus U43Jc Bamboo Series Notebook has an 8 cell battery and use Window 7 Home Premium operating system. It also has an 8X DVD Writer along with a 2 megapixel webcam and Bluetooth.
The Asus U43Jc Bamboo Series Notebook comes with a one year warranty and is available at the price of Rs. 61,999.
