Binatone Launches Android Home Surf Touch Tablet24 Sep 2010
Binatone has launched an 8-inch Android tablet called Home Surf Touch tablet. Many companies are eyeing India for tablet launches. Recently, Olive Pad had launched OlivePad tablet in India. Coming up in the lineup is another tablet from a company called Notion Ink. The tablet has been delayed and is expected to come by November 2010. Big names like Samsung and Dell are expected to launch their tablet this year in India as well.
The biggest pain point for these companies is the price point for Indian market. The OlivePad tablet is priced between Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 25,000 and will start shipping on October 1.
