Binatone has launched an 8-inch Android tablet called Home Surf Touch tablet. Many companies are eyeing India for tablet launches. Recently, Olive Pad had launched OlivePad tablet in India. Coming up in the lineup is another tablet from a company called Notion Ink. The tablet has been delayed and is expected to come by November 2010. Big names like Samsung and Dell are expected to launch their tablet this year in India as well.

The biggest pain point for these companies is the price point for Indian market. The OlivePad tablet is priced between Rs. 23,000 to Rs. 25,000 and will start shipping on October 1. It will be interesting to see if it is able to successfully sell at that price point, as right before their launch, Binatone has launched an Android tablet which is priced at Rs. 9,000. Let us check the detail specifications of the Binatone Home Surf Touch tablet.
