Blackberry Style 9670: Specs, Price

RIM unveiled Blackberry Style 9670 handset in the U.S. and it goes on sale later this month on Sprint. Blackberry Style 9670 is the latest flip phone from RIM, featuring a full QWERTY keyboard, and Blackberry 6 OS. RIM officially unveiled Blackberry Torch 9800 in India last week for a price of Rs. 35,000.

The Blackberry Style 9670 is a stylish flip phone from RIM. The Blackberry Style comes with two displays -- external and internal. The external display supports 240x320 pixel resolution, while the internal display supports 360x400 pixel resolution on the Blackberry Style 9670 flip phone. The phone's screen is made up of transmissive TFT LCD. It also has a full QWERTY keyboard and trackpad navigation.

Blackberry Style 9670The Blackberry Style 9670 also features a 5MP camera with autofocus and image stabilisation options. The camera can shoot videos in VGA (640x480) resolution and has 11 picture modes.

The Blackberry Style 9670 flip phone supports Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1+EDR, 3G and GPS. The phone has 512MB of onboard memory with an 8GB memory card included -- you can bump this up to 32GB of expandable storage on the Blackberry Style 9670.

The Blackberry Style also features a 3.5mm audio jack, support for popular audio and video file formats. The phone's 1150 mAh battery lasts for 4.5 hours of talktime or up to 14 hours of music playback.

The Blackberry Style 9670, like the Blackberry Torch 9800, features the new Blackberry 6 OS and supported apps. The Blackberry Style 9670 is going on sale on Sprint for a price of $99.99 on October 21 with a two-year agreement.
