Dell launches two Inspiron R Laptops

Dell has launched the Inspiron R series, which comes preloaded with Dell Dock and DataSafeOnline and allows to access personal files and securely shares photos and video wirelessly. The laptop has metal finishes with chrome accents and are available in two sizes 14 and 15 inch.
“The Dell Inspiron R series takes the rock-solid Inspiron line and amplifies the design factor with a practical approach for gaming, entertainment, and social networking along with all the usual home, school and work functions. Aside from the great new look, the Inspiron R makes it easy to access media and puts most commonly used applications right up top with the Dell Dock feature,” said Sriram Gopalaswamy, Marketing Manager, Dell India. “Photos, videos and personal files can also be securely stored and shared with DataSafeOnline for peace of mind. This is a laptop suited to all age groups in the consumer segment” he added.
The Inspiron R series is available with Intel Core i3 and Core i5 processors and Intel HD graphics. But it also have an option to put optional ATI graphics. SRS Premium Sound provides stereo surround soundstage. The laptops also has a built in media card reader which helps in speeding up in transferring photo and video files. Laptop’s touchscreen comes with integrated scrolling and gestures which makes using the laptop much more intuitive and simple. The users get to play with the storage of up to 500GB in both the laptops and memory of upto 4GB DDR3 helps in performing tasks faster than prior-gen DDR2 memory. The built in webcam helps in easy access to web chats.
Dell has provided dedicated 10-key number pad on the 15-inch system which gives gamers additional keys for more shortcuts. The additionally added feature of Dell Dock organizes the user’s media and puts most commonly-used apps right up top. The DataSafeOnline function helps in data backup and recovery while DataSafeLocal helps simple and reliable way to create backup copies of the factory image.
Designed to stand rigors of active children, students, commuters and travelers, Dell Inspiron R models also add smudge-resistant palm rests, a full-size ergonomically-designed keyboard and a stiffer frame.
Dell Inspiron 14R (14”) and Dell Inspiron 15R (15”) are available at the price of Rs. 30,400 and Rs. 31,900, respectively.
