Dell Streak Android tablet, launched by Dell today, is the second Android tablet to release in India after the OlivePad-VT100. But how do the Dell Streak (priced at Rs. 35,000) and OlivePad Android tablets compare to the much-hyped Apple iPad killer -- Samsung Galaxy Tab? We compare their important specs, and let you be the judge.

The Dell Streak is the only Android tablet amidst the bunch which has a smaller 5-inch capacitive touchscreen display, while both the OlivePad-VT100 and Samsung Galaxy Tab come with a 7-inch capactive TFT LCD screen, respectively.

Dell Streak tablet comes with Android 1.6 operating system, compared to the OlivePad-VT100's Android 2.1 and Samsung Galaxy Tab's Android 2.2 OS -- although there are rumors mills abuzz with claims that Dell might update Streak's tablet OS to Android 2.2 later this year. The Dell Streak has a 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor; the Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 1GHz ARM-based processor, while the OlivePad-VT100 Android tablet has the most inferior processor off the three tablets.
