Flip Pocket HD Camcorders Available at Zoomin.com

We've been waiting long enough for the Flip HD range of pocket camcorders to arrive in India and today Zoomin.com made these pocketable HD-capable camcorders available. Zoomin.com, an online photo printing service on its site currently has two pocket HD camcorders - Flip MinoHD and Flip Ultra HD. Zoomin gives Rs.1,000 off on each model which will be valid till 15th January 2011.

The Flip MinoHD is the more expensive of the two models, it captures 720p HD video and it has 8GB of built-in memory. Flip claims that the MiniHD is the world's sleekest HD camcorder and it has a  flip-out USB arm. It also has built-in speakers, internal Li-ion rechargeable battery which has a rated 2hours of operating time. The 8GB internal memory can record up to 120 minutes of 720HD video. The MinoHD has HDMI-out for connecting it to HDTV as well. The MinoHD is priced at Rs.11,499 (after Rs.1,000 off).

The more affordable of the two, the UltraHD can record the video of the same resolution, 720HD at 30fps as the MinoHD. It comes with a 4GBG built-in memory that can record up to 1 hour of video. It also has a USB arm to make connecting it to PC easier without the need to use seperate USB cable. The Flip UltraHD also has a 2-inch LCD screen but it has 2xAA batteries which has a rated operation time of 2.5 hours. It has HDMi out for connecting it to HDTV and there is also built-in speaker. The Ultra HD is priced at Rs. 8,990 ( after Rs.1,000 off).
