HP Launches new All-in-One PCs

All-in-One PCs are all the rage at the moment, and Hewlett-Packard India, has announced high-end consumer desktop solutions for technology enthusiasts looking for performance, design and innovation, including new touch and non-touch all-in-ones PCs. HP’s new range of All-in-One PCs combine the monitor and CPU and the result is a powerful, sleek and elegant desktop that is high on style. This next wave of multi-touch computing machines for consumers include the HP TouchSmart300 All-in-One Desktop PC, HP TouchSmart600 All-in-One Desktop PC and HP Pavilion MS200 All-in-One desktop PC.Â
HP Pavilion MS200 Non-Touch All-in-One PC
HP’s first non-touch consumer all-in-one desktop PC, the HP Pavilion MS200, provides a full set of features for all users’ computing needs in a stylish space saving design. HP also continues to redefine touch with two new TouchSmart PC models – the HP TouchSmart300 PC and HP TouchSmart600, with a smart and sleek design, advanced features and a suite of built-for-touch applications.
The MS200 is a stylish fully featured all-in-one PC. Everything is integrated inside the 18.5-inch diagonal 16:9 widescreen display, eliminating cable clutter and messy peripherals, to save space on the desk or in the family room. AMD dual-core processing delivers increased efficiency and speed while optional NVIDIA discrete graphics offer optimal video experience. It also comes with HP Media Smart software that enables simple access to music, movies and digital photos from one simple interface. Its built-in webcam and microphone enable video chats with friends and family; and the wireless networking capabilities provide easy online access.
The MS200 has also been designed with the environment in mind, HP claims, using less metal and plastic than standard PCs and monitors and 100% recyclable packaging. Additionally, all models are ENERGY STAR 5.0 qualified and feature HP Power Management Technology to cut power, saving energy and money. The MS200 is available at a recommended price of Rs. 36,990.
HP TouchSmart300 PC and HP TouchSmart600 PC
Slimmer and better than previous TouchSmart offerings, the new TouchSmart300 and TouchSmart600 feature enhanced multi-touch technology, including gestures such as pinch, rotate, arc, flick and press and drag, enabling users to move, modify and share all digital content with natural finger movements. The many built-in touch-optimised applications, including the new Microsoft Windows 7, enables for a better touch performance.
The new HP TouchSmart 3.0 software features a customizable interface and interactive tiles that put favourite content at your fingertips. The appealing all-in-one form factor of the HP TouchSmart PC fits elegantly within the home – whether placed on a table or mounted on a wall, the sleek piano black finish with silver panels and slim casing helps add an element of style.
The TouchSmart600 features a 23-inch a 16:9 1080p full HD widescreen for watching HD content or playing HD games. HP claims the new game console connectivity allows users toplay Xbox, PlayStation and Wii games. The smaller Touchsmart300 is designed for less spacious living environments yet still offers a 20-inch 16:9 720p widescreen and AMD Athlonâ„¢ dual-core processor delivers excellent performance.
The new swivel stand and tilt Web cam also increase the ability to share and collaborate around the HP TouchSmart PC and all models meet Energy Star 5.0 requirements.
Pricing and availability: the TouchSmart300 and TouchSmart600 are available at recommended prices of Rs. 59,990 and Rs. 89,990 respectively.
