Nokia 500 1GHz Symbian Phone Unleashed

Nokia today announced the launch of a new Symbian Anna-based touchscreen phone Nokia 500. It boasts of a 1GHz processor and it looks like Nokia is targeting the youth and the Android-based smartphones LG Optimus One and Samsung Galaxy 3.
It has a 3.2-inch capacitive touch display with a screen resolution of 640x360 pixels and a 5MP rear camera. The Nokia 500 has an internal storage memory of 2GB which can be increased further by adding a 32GB using the microSD card slot. For your connectivity options, the phone has Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth. The phone measures 111.3 x 53.8 x 14.1mm and weighs in at 93g, which makes it the lightest Symbian^3 phone in the world.

The Nokia 500 will be available in different colours to suit your preferences. The Nokia 500 is expected to retail around €150 (approx Rs. 9,750) and will be available from the third quarter of this year.
