Nokia announced three Symbian Belle devices recently, which included the 600,700 and the 701. After an extensive marketing campaign and publicity around these three devices, news doing the rounds is that Nokia 600 will never hit the market.

According to gsmarena, Nokia has removed all mentions of the device from its websites across the globe. The Nokia 603’s announcement seems to be the plausible reason for the cancellation of Nokia 600. However, some sources also state that operators were not willing to buy the number of phones Nokia was offering (in context of markets outside India).

The phone has a 1 GHz processor and 2D/3D graphics HW accelerator with OpenVG1.1 and OpenGL ES 2.0 for powering the graphic intensive applications. Apart from the much-advertised NFC chip (Just tap), the phone has all the other connectivity options like 3G/ Wi-Fi.

We contacted the Public Relation agency regarding the news and they had no clue about any such development.

However, the Nokia 701 is available in the market and the Nokia 700 is not available in the stores as of yet.
