Nokia Adds C2-03 Slider to its Range of Dual-SIM Phones
21 Jun 2011
Nokia seems to be flooding the market with a lot of mobile phones. After the news about the launch of N9, C2-00 and the X1-01, Nokia has another phone lined up for release. The Nokia C2-03 is a Dual-SIM touch-and-type slider phone which runs on Symbian Series 40.
The Nokia C2-03 is Nokia's third Touch and Type phone and the first phone which is a slider. The Easy Swap feature allows you to open the slot on the side of the phone and simply insert your new SIM, without the hassles of a reboot. Similar to the C2-00 and the X1-01, the C2-03 can also remember the settings for five different SIM cards.

Mary McDowell, the head of Nokia's Mobile Phones business unit, said, "The Nokia C2-03 makes managing multiple SIMs simpler, without compromising on any other features. Why should consumers have to choose between touch and keypad, or forego a great web, map, entertainment or email experience? With the Nokia C2-03 we have made it all available on one affordable device."
As for the other features, the C2-03 measures 103 x 51.4 x 17mm and weighs 118g. The standby time is quoted as lasting up to 400 hours, with a talk time of up to five hours, while the music playback time last up to 35 hours. The screen is measured at 240 x 320 with up to 65K colours.
The Nokia C2-03 will be available in Q3 2011 in India. It is expected to be priced around Rs. 5000.
