Nokia N8 preorder for Rs. 33,900

You can preorder the Nokia N8 from India through the Indian website shopyourworld.com.

The Nokia N8 smartphone is expected to be launched by end of September in India. But, if you are in a hurry to confirm a Nokia N8 for yourself, shopyourworld.com allows you to preorder the Nokia N8 for a premium price tag of Rs. 33,900. The site basically books your phone with Nokia US website which is taking the preorders and will ship it to you in India after adding the applicable duties and shipping charges.

Nokia hinted at a very competitive price point for the N8 in India during our exclusive Nokia N8 preview at the Nokia research labs in Bangalore last week. We were suspecting the pricing to be around Rs. 25,000. But, with the $549 (approx Rs. 26,000) preorder pricing for the Nokia N8 on the Nokia US website, chances of the Nokia N8 launch price being around Rs. 25,000 seem low.
