Nokia Windows Phone 7 Handset Images Leaked
11 Feb 2011
Concept images of what could just be the first devices from Nokia running on Windows Phone 7 have been leaked to Engadget. The phones look similar to the Nokia C7 that runs Symbian^3 but slimmer. The phones also have the touch sensitive Windows Phone 7 buttons just below the screen that are visible on other Windows Phone 7 devices such as the HTC HD7 and the LG Optimus 7. There is no word yet on possible specs and features and do keep in mind that these phones are still in the concept stage.
These pictures come in the wake of what has arguably been the biggest announcement by Nokia in the past few years- the adoption of Windows Phone 7 as the primary smartphone OS. At a joint press-conference yesterday with Microsoft, Nokia announced that from now on all their smartphones (including the E-series business phones) would be running Microsoft's Windows Phone 7 mobile OS. Nokia also revealed that they would continue their support of Symbian and that iyt would still power non-smartphone/feature phones from Nokia.
