Nokia X7-00 Music Phone Details Leaked with NFS Shift Game Video
29 Nov 2010
The Nokia X7 (or X7-00) is a phone model that got revealed to the world involuntarily. We now know that its features are very close to that of the other Symbian^3 mobile phones launched by Nokia so far. Significantly, the Nokia X7 has a 4-inch display (touch screen of course), quad speakers for pretty loud music (one each at 4 corners of the front panel), an 8MP camera with dual-LED flash at the rear, and four home screens. All this nice stuff is in addition to the high end hardware that already is common across the Symbian^3 line of phones, which could be great if Nokia priced it right.
This phone was noticed when seen running a game - Need For Speed: Shift Mobile (by EA Games). Scroll further below to watch the video. As expected, the Nokia X7-00 has its design influenced by the high-end Nokia E7 and Nokia N8 phones. On the storage side, it is expected to have 450 MB of internal memory, 256 MB of RAM, and a micro-SDHC memory card slot for expansion.
Hardware-wise, the internals are quite identical to its peers (Nokia N8, E7-00, C7-00, C6-01). It runs the Symbian^3 OS, an ARM11 680 MHz processor, 3D graphics hardware accelerator, accelerometer and proximity sensor, 360x640 screen resolution, Bluetooth 3.0, Wireless-N, A-GPS, and 3G support.
