Oscar launches stylish J4 Qwerty phone

Oscar has launched a new dual-SIM mobile phone handset, the J4 which has features targeting the youth. In a press release, Oscar says the J4 is a perfect mix of dashing looks and cool features that will appeal to the youth. The J4 is a QWERTY mobile phone (complete dedicated keyboard compared to just 12 alpha-numeric keys on normal handsets). It has a a flashy yellow colored body and it claims special features such as One Touch FM and Auto Call Record.

Other features include a 2-inch color display, a camera (with undisclosed megapixel count), FM radio recording, MP3 and Video Player, Bluetooth and Torch functionality. The phone supports GPRS and WAP for Internet connectivity. Storage is taken care of by a microSD memory card slot which Oscar says will accept memory cards upto a size of 8GB. The Oscar J4 is priced at Rs. 2,749.
As with other Oscar phones, the J4 is also a Dual SIM GSM phone (a nice feature to have, often missing even in more expensive phones). The Oscar J4 mobile phone comes with a 1 year warranty. Oscar claims an existing after sales and service network of over 250 service centers currently, and plans to increase this number to 8,000 by year end.
