Samsung India Launches Wave and Galaxy S

Samsung has finally launched Wave and Galaxy S in India. Samsung Wave is the first Samsung phone in India running on the company’s proprietary operating system Bada. Couple of days ago Samsung showcased the benefit of it Bada platform its first ‘Global Developer Day’ conference.

Samsung Wave

The Samsung Wave features a 3.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 800x480 pixels. It has a 5 mega pixel camera with Flash LED. Samsung’s Social Hub has been designed to integrate all major email and social networking services’ portal. Also the TouchWiz 3.0 interface allows users to customize their homepage. Samsung wave is powered by 1GHz processor. It has a dolphin browser for internet surfing. Samsung claims that the Samsung Wave has the talktime of 15 hours and has internal memory of 2GB, which can be expanded up to 32GB.

Samsung Wave is priced at Rs. 19,100.

Samsung Galaxy S

The Samsung Galaxy S runs on android and comes with the 4-inch Super AMOLED screen, and a 1 GHz application processor. It has the same TouchWiz 3.0 user-interface and runs on Android 2.1 operating system. Just like other Android phones you can access up to 50,000 applications from Android Market. Users also have access to Google mobile services, such as Google Search, Gmail, and Google Maps.

Samsung Galaxy S is priced at Rs. 31,500.
