Samsung has launched two new LED TVs in the size of 22-inch and 26-inch. These LED TVs are new addition to the existing Series 4000 and Series 5000, which are Full HD LED TVs. Apart from these two series, Samsung also has its Series 6200 and Series 6900 LED TVs, which were launched this year.

Samsung LED TVs use LEDs as their primary light source instead of Cold Cathode Fluorescent Lamps (CCFL). This helps in getting better contrast ratios, slim depths, plus increased energy savings, claims Samsung. Samsung HDTV lineup also have Clear Motion Rate frame interpolation technology, which helps in reducing motion blur. Samsung LED TVs allows users to wirelessly connect their TV with compatible mobile devices. These LED TVs also have four HDMI ports.

Samsung claims that the energy consumption in its LED TVs is reduced by 40 percent, if compared to traditional LCD HDTVs of similar size. With the help of its LED TVs, Samsung is eyeing a market share of 40 percent in Flat Panel TV in India.

The price of the new products is not revealed by Samsung.
