Samsung Launches Galaxy S2 in India

Samsung has officially announced the launch of its Android 2.3 powered Galaxy S2 in India. Customers will be able to preorder the S2 online at Rs. 1000 from May 26.
Samsung has partnered with Vodafone to launch its phone at a cost of Rs. 32,850. Vodafone customers buying the device will also avail 1GB of free 3G data for the first six months. The phone will be available at retail stores from June 9.
The Galaxy S2 features a 4.3 inch Super AMOLED Plus screen, a 1.2 Ghz Dual Core Samsung Orion processor, 16 GB of internal storage (expandable upto 32 GB), a 8 MP rear and 2 MP front facing camera and an embedded NFC (Near Field Communication) chip.
