Strontium Launches Ultra-Slim External Hard Disks

Strontium, a leading supplier of memory modules and flash products, has announced launch of its stylish external hard drive called the Strontium Power Store Slim. This portable hard drive features storage capacities of up to 500GB and strong data retention. Combined with its slim size, it is recommended for portable storage solution, and also for backing up and storing videos, photos, songs, graphics, and other files on your PC.
The Strontium Power Store Slim has a 2.5-inch hard drive, ranging from 250GB, 320GB or 500GB in capacity. The drive is encased in a stainless steel case with a plastic coating on top, and weighs as less as 175g. It connects through the USB port, compliant with USB 2.0 specifications and also backward compatible with USB 1.1. Operating system support ranges from Windows 98 to Windows 7, and it also supports Mac and Linux platforms. The drive comes with a backup software CD, if you want to treat it as a backup device. Other accessories included are a USB cable, user manual and warranty card.

The Strontium External HDDs are available in India through their authorized distributors. The street prices for Strontium External HDD are Rs. 2,799 for a 250GB drive, Rs. 3,299 for a 320GB drive, and Rs. 4,599 for a 500GB drive. All drives come with a 2 year warranty.
