Toshiba Canvio Portable Hard Drive Launched in India

Toshiba has announced the launch of Canvio Portable Hard Drive in India. These drives are available in capacities up to 1TB. Canvio has Windows based NTI BackupNow EZ software, which comes with search capabilities and step-by-step restore functionality to retrieve lost files.

Toshiba claims that the Canvio Portable Hard Drive weighs less that 170 grams and is smaller than a postcard. The company says that Canvio can be customized by users for extensive backup options, advanced restore functionalities, and an ability to overwrite specific original files. The Canvio has the option of automatically and regularly back up a computer while it is in use.

Toshiba says that Canvio is capable of a complete system backup as well. The Portable Hard Drive is available in three capacities of 320GB, 500GB, and 1TB at the price of Rs. 3780, Rs. 5130 and Rs. 11,070, respectively.
