Toshiba Introduces Ultra-Slim Portege R700 Laptop to India

After a worldwide launch, the Toshiba Portege R700 slim business laptop has been launched here by Toshiba India. The Portege has a 13.3. inch screen and boasts of the “Airflow Cooling Technology”, co-developed  with Intel, that allows the Toshiba to sport an Intel Core i3/ i5 processor.

The Portege comes with up to 8GB of RAM and Toshiba claims that the laptop can run up to eight hours on a single battery charge. The Toshiba also has a built-in optical drive and has a “Hard Drive Impact Sensor” that protects the hard drive from shocks and rough usage. Reports online put the pricing of the Toshiba Portege R700 between the Rs. 65,000 to Rs. 75,000 range depending on the system specifications.
