Toshiba unveils Dual Touchscreen Mini Notebook

Toshiba has announced the launch of new products including a dual 7.0-inch LCD touchscreen. The product is named as Libretto W100 and is a Windows mini-notebook PC. The notebook can be closed and opened like a book or one side can be even used as a keyboard. The other products include dynabook RX3, dynabook Qosmio DX, and dynabook AZ.
Libretto W100
The Libretto W100 is powered by Intel Pentium processor U5400, with the operating frequency of 1.20 GHz. It features a 62GB SSD storage and has 2GB of memory. It weighs 699g, but just has 2 hours of battery life. It has a WiMAX wireless communication module and has an integrated Bluetooth device. The Libretto W100 also has 1.02 megapixel webcam. Toshiba has announced that the Libretto W100 will be available in the end of August in Japan.
dynabook RX3
Toshiba claims that this is lightest notebook PC integrating a 13.3-inch wide LCD display as it weighs only 1.25kg. The dynabook RX3 integrates an optical disk drive, a standard voltage CPU. The battery gives a battery life of approximately 11 hours. There are four models available in this series: RX3/T9M, RX3/T8M, RX3/T7M, RX3/T6M. The RX3/T9M, RX3/T8M, RX3/T7M run of Intel Core i5-520M processor with operating frequency of 2.40GHz, while the RX3/T6M runs on Intel Core i3-350M with operating frequency of 2.26GHz.
In terms of storage and memory, the RX3/T9M has 128GB SSD with 4GB memory, RX3/T8M, RX3/T7M has 500GB HDD with 4GB memory, and RX3/T6M has 320GB HDD with 4GB memory. Other features in the dynabook RX3 include WiMAX wireless communication module (RX3/T9M and RX3/T7M), A4 tile keyboard, 32/64 bit selectable OS (RX3/T9M and RX3/T8M), and Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010. These products will be available in Japan from 25th of June. Any detail on price or worldwide released is not yet provided by the company.
dynabook Qosmio DX
The dynabook Qosmio DX is a 21.5-inch full HD all-in-one PC. Powered by Intel Core i5-450M processor, the dynabook Qosmio DX has operating frequency of 2.40GHz. It has a 1TB HDD with 4GB memory and also a HDMI/D4 input terminal. It also has a digital TV tuner card. This all-in-one also uses Toshiba’s proprietary dedicated image processor SpursEngine, which offers fast write times to Blu-ray discs. It has wireless keyboard and laser mouse. Users can also select between the 32/64-bit selectable. Microsoft Office Home and Business 2010 is also available with dynabook Qosmio DX. Toshiba has announced that the dynabook Qosmio DX will be available in mid July in Japan.
dynabook AZ
dynabook AZ is called the cloudbook as it is always connected with internet. It features a NVIDIA Tegra 250 Processor with operating frequency of 1.0GHz. It is 10.1-inch Wide LCD with LED backlighting. dynabook AZ runs on Android 2.1 platform and has 16GB Flash storage with 512MB memory. It has a battery life of 180 hours. Other functions include HDMI output terminal, integrated Bluetooth and 1.3 megapixel webcam. Toshiba has announced that dynabook AZ will be available in the end of August in Japan.
