Transcend 16GB JetFlash V90C Launched in India

Transcend has announced the launch of 16 GB JetFlash V90C keychain USB flash drive. Priced at Rs. 3000 (16GB), the flash drive is 4.8 mm-thick and can store 6552 pictures or 240 minutes of 1080p video, Transcend claims. The JetFlash V90C offers up to 15MB/s transfer speed.

“Drawing inspiration from the intuitive and playful aspects of postmodern culture, the front of the 16GB JetFlash V90C is laser-etched with distinctive geometric shapes that create a striking colorful 3D illusion when light catches it at different angles. The drive features a cap-less design with a hidden USB connector, and also comes with a fashionable metal keychain, making it a perfect addition to any set of keys, wallet or purse,” said Gordon Wu, Regional Head, SARRC, Transcend.

Users can also download and install Transcend’s JetFlash Elite data management tools to enhance mobile productivity. The JetFlash Elite software can turn the JetFlash drive into a key to automatically log on to website accounts, or even temporarily lock a computer to prevent unauthorized access.

The JetFlash V90C comes with a lifetime warranty and is available in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities.
