Transcend Launches StoreJet 25D2-W Hard Drive for Mac

Transcend has launched StoreJet 25D2-W portable hard drive, which is compatible with Mac and Windows. The StoreJet 25D2-W has a Mac like look and has the storage capacity of 500GB and is priced at Rs. 6300. The portable hard disk also has function of synchronization and backup using software such as Mac OSX Time Machine or Transcend’s StoreJet Elite software for Windows, according to the company’s press release.

Transcend has setup a auto-sleep mode function in the StoreJet 25D2-W portable hard drive, which kicks in after 10 minutes of inactivity. Transcend claims that this auto-sleep mode function saves up to 30 percent energy. The StoreJet 25D2-W portable hard drive comes with StoreJet Elite software that has functions such as intelligent backup scheduling, Internet tools and 256-bit AES encryption.

The StoreJet 25D2-W portable hard drive is available in white color and it comes with a three year warranty.
