Two New Motorola Fire Handsets Launched in India

Motorola has launched the Fire and the Fire XT Android smartphones in India, phones that fit into the budget and mid-range segments respectively. The Fire is priced at Rs. 9,990 while the Fire XT carries a price-tag of Rs. 13,890.
The Motorola Fire (also known as the Fire XT311 elsewhere) runs Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) and is powered by a 600MHz Qualcomm processor and also has a dedicated Adreno 200 GPU. It also has 256MB of RAM and a 2.8-in capacitive touchscreen with QVGA (320x240 pixels) resolution coupled with a four-row QWERTY keypad. Imaging is taken care of by a 3.15 camera that can also shoot 480p videos.
The Motorola Fire XT is also an Android 2.3 smartphone with a 3.5-in WVGA (320x480 pixels) capacitive touchscreen. It's powered by an 800MHz Qualcomm processor and 512MB of RAM. The Fire XT's multimedia capabilities are bolstered by its 5MP auto-focus camera with LED flash.
Both phones are now available in India.
