Full Review
The final projector in our Top 5, the BenQ MP511+ is a very nondescript projector. This is not necessarily a bad thing, since it makes life easier.
Using the projector is made easy by the large, clearly-labeled buttons and the easy to use menu. The specifications are the same as the others, but for some reason, it wasn’t as bright as the rest, despite having similar specs. This projector has wall color correction, which is useful, since you can project on a blue or yellow wall, and still have the image look proper.

The DisplayMate tests tripped up the BenQ. It had trouble with quite a few of the test screens, in particular the white level screens. It was hard for it to distinguish between subtle shades of white. There was a similar situation in the reverse video contrast tests. Essentially, this is a projector for less demanding presentations. Simpler PowerPoint presentations, less complex spreadsheets, or even animated video; don’t expect to study the financials of a large office on this.
Bottom Line
A projector for less demanding presentations. It has trouble a few of the test screens, in particular the white level screens.
