Full Review
The Xerox Phaser 6130 rating was a bit low despite scoring high in the performance test and also doing fairly well with features and specification mainly because of its high price tag of Rs 31,500 and its running cost being higher than the top two printers at Rs 2.30 per page.
The onboard memory capacity is 128MB with the option of adding RAM of up to a whopping 1,152MB. It has a very large input and output tray capacity of 250 and 150 pages respectively and the monthly duty cycle of 50,000 is quite impressive. Its toner cartridge has a black page yield of 2,500 pages. It also has a good network management feature with a comprehensive print usage report and support for access permission depending on the IP address.
The Xerox Phaser 6130 rating was a bit low despite scoring high in the performance test and also doing fairly well with features and specification mainly because of its high price tag.
In the actual performance test, it did fairly well. Its spooling time was the fastest at 14 seconds. The 13.3ppm for black text and reasonable speed in printing out Excel sheets and comic book PDFs proved it a speedy performer. But it fared badly in the print quality test with the output noticeably lagging behind the other printers.
Bottom Line
Good mix of performance and features but lost out because of the high pricing.
